During the first half of 2024, María Cascales completed her time at the Central de Cine, completing the advanced semester-long program of acting in front of the camera with professors such as Juanma López, Carmen Gutiérrez, Carmen Utrilla and Eva Manjón.

In May she took part in a photo shoot for the Carmen Tessa brand in Alicante for the summer-autumn campaign. Later, she appeared in the film «El Cautivo» by Alejandro Amenábar while it was being filmed at the Santa Bárbara castle and for the series «Mar afuera» on Almadraba beach. 

Most recently, in June she attended a short course on acting in front of the camera and casting with Clara Climent at Actores Madrid. In July she did an intensive week at Estudio Di Pace on the Chekhov technique. 

Finally, in July he recorded material for Cambridge University Spain's social media in relation to the Olympic Games.
